More About San Antonio Mogotón Caturra

A washed Caturra was named after and grown close to the highest point in Nicaragua, Mogotón, on family-run Finca San Antonio. The 365ha farm sits at 1550masl and employs eco-friendly and organic agricultural practices to produce high-quality cherries.

After hand-harvesting, cherries are floated, depulped, fermented for 24-36 hours, and washed. They are then transported to Cafetos de Segovia, Ana & Martha Albir Sotomayor’s highly acclaimed dry mill, to be dried on African beds, and prepared for export.
