Ndiaini AA Washed

Established in 1969, the Ndia-ini Cooperative is situated near the rich, red volcanic soils and cool high-altitude climate of Nyeri, where optimal growing conditions cultivate exceptional coffee.

Around 365 farmers consistently deliver wild-grown SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian varietals to the washing station each year for fully-washed processing. Once delivered, cherries are pulped, fermented under water to break down the remaining mucilage, and then thoroughly washed before drying.
