Luis Orlando Julon Olano owns and runs El Pate, a high-altitude farm situated at 1950masl in La Palma, Jaén, Cajamarca. Half of the 6ha farm is dedicated to the cultivation of caturra, pache, and catimo varietals.

Cherry is shade-grown, handpicked, left to rest for 48hrs and fermented for 12hrs. Coffee is then washed and shade-dried for 10days.
