More About La Llama Geisha
La Llama, named after Bolivia’s national animal and in homage to a particular one who was spotted when the Rodriguez family first viewed the farm, is a small 10ha farm surrounded by dense native forest in a steep valley just outside Caranavi.
Situated at 1650masl, the farm’s mineral-rich soils are planted with Geisha Hawaii, Orange Caturra, SL-28, Ethiosar, Java, Geisha, and SL-34 varieties which mature slowly in its cool, foggy microclimate. Cherries are hand harvested April through to November by 200 workers from the nearby Villa Rosario community.
Expect a Geisha that’s sweet, complex, and super floral.
