El Aguacate Alba Natural

Every stage of production for this lot was managed by the Acuña family’s vertically integrated coffee company, Marespi. The catuai and red caturra cherries are grown on their high-altitude El Aguacate farm in a mountainous region known for significant rainfall, cool climate, and fertile, volcanic soils.

Once harvested, the cherries were then delivered to the family’s mill where they were sorted for quality and dried whole over roughly twenty-two days on raised beds, with regular turning and moisture monitoring before hulling and export preparation.

Oversight of the whole production chain – from cultivation to packaging for export – ensures consistency, quality, and deliciousness in the final cup.
