Isacio Javier Albir Vílchez is committed to positively impacting the lives of farm workers, the community, and the environment. He uses environmentally-friendly practices— low-intensity pesticides, organic fertilisers, and co-planting of other plants and small crops—to grow a diverse range of environmentally suitable coffee varietals on his 76ha farm, Agua Sarca.

This Maracattura lot was grown on 7.39ha of the farm. Only ripe cherries were picked, floated, packed, and dried on African drying beds. After drying, the beans rest for a month before being milled and prepped for export.
